Wow, what a storm Bob!!
Great captures and video mate.
That last strike (photo) looks like it hit an electricity tower.

Happy New Year to you and your family Bob.

That's one heck of a storm!
Lightning, deadly, frightening but still captivating. I stand out in too many storms watching the lightning, usually camera on tripod if the rain hasn't yet hit. It's a pity no one has figured out how to harness that power. I don't think a kite with a key is quite enough.

Cheers Leon, I keep thinking you were located in Nth Nsw, maybe you were many yrs ago,,, im hoping to travel Van-life style down that way, the entire Vic Coast line looks awesome..

Thx Flashdrive, yes, still a few struggling today... Weather models have the current Coral Sea 'LOW system growing, crossing the Qld coast and making its way down here SeQld ?

Thx OzE,, The vid was low res but had the iso cranked to see the surroundings which was pleasing in itself,,,

Cheers H0ughy and Nik,,

Power Maximus,, reminds me of Elon's Rockets Blowing up on testing and if anyone would try and catch a Lightning bolt and thread it into a battery, it be an Elon breed
