Hi Diego,
Aesthetically that's a lovely colour palate and a well balanced image.
However, there's a wierd oversmoothing (too much NR?) and over sharpening thing (overcompensating?) going on imo. as there should be lots more detail in this thing.
When I was first getting started in NB Strongman Mike quite rightly pulled me up on a similar "colour by numbers" appearance critique, which I eventually resolved after a long hard look at my workflow.
I'm thinking there's something similar amiss here with your workflow as well, probably early on in the processing.
Having said all of that though, your colour choices are terrific imo, well done!

I think andy is right, although bits are quite sharp. A lot isn't though, sort of smeared? Love the colours and mood though!

First of all i have BIG PROBLEMS with my flats....... i haven't been able to properly calibrate my shots, i get ugly gradients and uneven field illumination on my NB filters, i am compensating a lot by using photoshop tools.. maybe my filters are crap or i simply have to learn how to shoot my flats the right way......

Second, this photo is only 5 hours or so of data..... and i make the big mistake of shooting the same in every filter, when i should be exposing way more on Sii and Oiii.... so it needs way more data..... i must stop doing snapshots and at least dedicating one night or more to each filter until it is complete....

Blaming myself for being lazy, I LOVE MY PHOTO.... learning a lot of tricks when processing and i love the colors i am getting on my NB works.....

I will soon start to take it seriously and do one project at a time instead or trying to shoot 3 objects on 1 night.

Thanks for the comments, please feel free to write what you think, and please tell me how do you think i can make it better......

Thanks....

Hey Diego,
Not convinced it's just flats, but it's a good idea to get a lightbox or a flat panel anyway for consistency.

If you like, pm me with a step by step of your workflow and I'll try to id the issue. Mega data helps of course but getting the most out of what you have is paramount imo And don't be disappointed, you've done very well considering you only took your first AP image just 7 short months ago!

Cheers
Andy

Google how to do artificial flats if you want Diego, they can be surprisingly effective. Or yes, get a lightbox. I need to get mine repaired!

You're doing fantastic at such an early stage mate, have the technical know-how and attitude to achieve great images.

Very nicely done Diego. I'm struggling with this one at the moment and your pic gives me something to aim for.
