Icy chicken tum

A tight crop here of old data on the running chicken nebula. Original image is here a couple of months ago, had the whole chook there. I'm happy with how close in the image holds up... its not razor sharp, but I like the star colours and there is nice detail in the ridges.

Having fun learning the ways of pixinsight! I'm finding the software itself is inspiring me to collect more data, it doesn't like seem to allow the off-the-charts pushing and stretching that I usually resort to

This data was collected before I started guiding, I think it was a whole heap of 45s or so subs a day or two after i got my mono camera.

Blue chicken...past used by date

Very interesting look to it - definitely not the usual over-cooked red chook.

That's very nice. Lot of details and contrast.

Nice one JP Glad to hear you're still having fun processing old data with PixInsight.
