Losmandy G11 g2 control via Tablet/mobile

Hi

Have got my G11working using a game paddle, also set up a TP-link nano 802n to connect to it wireless (set up as an access point) but I would like to know how to access the Gemini Web page to access the mount using an android tablet or mobile phone-

Your gemini should have an IP address.

For your android device, it will need to be on the same wireless network as well.

From there, you should be able to open up a browser (e.g. Chrome) and go to the gemini website via the ip address, e.g. http://a.b.c.d:port/...

I communicate with my Gemini via the ethernet cable so that is all I can give information about. Maybe it will give you a clue with your wireless setup?

On the Gemini hand paddle I go into the network Settings. It is setup up with an IP address of 192.168.0.111 Network Mask 255.255.255.0 Default gateway: 192.168.0.1 Primary DNS Server: 255.250.203.73 The DHCP option is checked.

On the Ethernet adapter setting IPV4 check Use the Following Address: 192.168.0.110 Sub Net Mask: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 1912.168.0.1 The DNS server settings are left blank in the bottom section.

Good luck with it.

Ted
