This unit is in as new in its original box - I got it some years ago, but my love of equipment has exceeded my enthusiasm for using it. It is hardly used.

The Meade #1220 Field De-Rotator allows long exposure photo or CCD imaging (over 5 minutes) in altazimuth mode without a wedge - it corrects for field rotation (which results from the scope not rotating on the same axis that the earth does) with the Meade Field De-Rotator. Attaches to the rear cell of your telescope to precisely counter the effects of altazimuth-induced field rotation. For 7", 8", 10", 12" and 14" LX200 and RCX400/LX400 models including 16". Meade #1220 Field De-Rotators attach to the rear cell of your telescope and plug into an RS232 port
