luna time

well its the first time i have imaged from the Doghouse observatory since August 2018. so sad really with Queensland Astrofest in two weeks time. also shows how crud the weather has been

so what i did was swap out the celestron RASA 11" and packed that, then installed a celestron C8 with a 0.7 reducer and imaged with the ASI071 OSC camera. not ideal however i managed something.

Captured with Sharpcap 3.1, then stacked in autostakker3 massaged in PS5. taken at 17:32 with a howling jetstream above. seeing is very soft - and so is the image

I'll take that as a compliment rather than the alternative, more loaded meaning.

Cheers

Yes was a compliment, though the other is funnier
