Solar activity 28 Jan 2019t

Using the SM60/ED80/PST DS/x2.5PM/ASI 174. The AR and a few proms.
Set-up the Omega CaK stack - quite pleased with the result, shows the sunspot umbra and penumbra.

(I had to stop down the ED80 to 60mm for the CaK)

Ken, your work is admirable.
The CaK stack is on my list of things to look into further when family duties show any signs of letting up (so may not happen this decade)

Thanks guys, appreciated!!
It's not the best place for observing..21mtr above the Bay, the beach is only 500 mtr away, but my wife loves the place.
Such is life.

Thanks guys!
I couldn't afford a commercial CaK scope so I made my own from Omega CaK filters and a Baader Blue CCD filter as an ERF.
Seems to work reasonable well in focal ratios >f20 (I think the optimum is >f30)
