Dont worry about the filthy rich.
Few understand their role so let me help here...all economies even a strict socialist economy needs money to flow up hill and in effect disappear.
What we dont want is money accumulating at the bottom end else inflation will destroy the system.
Ever think about how hard it is to get a tradesman. ..a lot has to do with too much wealth is not flowing to the top to disappear.
It is unfortunate but the reality is there must be a section of the society who are experiencing a condition close to poverty...now that condition should be yemporary as new folk enter the system and replace those filling the role of the poor...and same with the rich .. new rich folk come and some go...many fortunes dont last past three generations and those that find they must manage a fortune really are between a rock and a hard place.
They have so much wealth they need never work but the reality is when charged with managing a fortune you must work very very hard...its more than going to work each day ..
you must now deal with lawyers accountants managers gardeners cooks etc and attend meetings, weddings funerals etc etc and mingle with politicians, community leaders and be on the look out for assasination from within your group and outside.
Being really rich is not easy...I expect.
But the importance of money flowing up hill and disappearing is hard to accept but it is critical to maintaining most economies.
