My best m42

I know there are much better out there but this is just reprocessing on data collected earlier last month and with today's deluge in Melbourne I had a good play around. So considering what data I had I quite like this.
30x 30 seconds lights same for darks processed in DSS then cropped and processed in Photoshop
No blending of different images this time.
183mc cooled and orion ed80.
Hope you agree it's betterer

Time well spent Nik, you have processed this well "respecting the light" as the golden rule and nice subtle detail seen here.
Tick that off as a top result.

Cheers mate
I still can’t get the blue out of the nebula though
Not sure it’d it was to do with the light at the time or not enough data or the camera is too red sensitive

Dark skies will help with the running man, try for longer subs , see if you can manage 45 sec perhaps. Your tracking seems good enough to support this.

Will give it a go when it’s up higher in the sky as I am back at work and can’t stay up late currently

Looks nice to me.
I would crop it and saturate the colour ...may I do that on my phone? I love Orion.

Is a good start with the small amount of data you collected, nothing wrong with what you have there at all
