ALTAZ digital mount

Thanks for the heads up, picked one up from Aldi in Melbourne. The resulution of .1 is rather meaningless given that the accuracy is quoted as +- .5 which is probably still a touch optomistic.

At $20 it's quite good for an initial mount alignment starting point in the field.

I agree, not to be consider as accurate. Gets the objects I want in the FOV with the lens I am using. They have a hard stop at 230 degrees.
Lots of fun just poking around the sky for the brighter things, like omega centauri.
