High ISO mistake..

I think I must have used a high ISO to do a quick frame job and obviously forgot to re set the ISO.

This was done at 25600 ISO

HEQ5 unguided, Nikon D5500 50/200 lens at around 100 ???, ISO 25600 over 100 at 25 second subs,30 darks DSS startools, photos shop, gimp.

Surprised it came out relatively OK and happy with the detail given the wet sky and surrounds.

That’s really cool Álex. Great shot. You’re not the first and I sure not the last to make that ISO mistake.

...... just waiting for others to chime in about “ sweet spots “ now ....

Gee Alex 25600 ISO that is some shooting mate I had never gone over 800 and always found 400 to be the best for long exposures of 600 sec's or more, admittedly it took a bit longer to do a run but heaps better result.
Plus there was a 600 sec dark added to that one image, so each exposure took 1200 secs, makes for a long night if one wants to capture many exposures.

It is a wonder you actually captured what yo got Alex
