M20 Trifid Nebula

This is my 1st attempt at M20 Trifid Nebula captured in Sydney
No very clean or sharp and still noisy.A bit disappointed as this image has over 2 hours of data and conditions were ok for Bortle 8 skies with no moon around , just both neighbours flood lights on for no apparent reason
65 x 2 minute dithered guided subs
20 x darks
ISO800
6” f6 newt
HEQ5 mount
Guiding was terrible too 1.50 to 1.90 arc sec error , the dithering was upsetting the mount to much. Threw away quite a few subs
Stacked in DSS
Processed in Startools

Thanks for looking

I would be happy with that ... I must have said this before but I recon the advantage you get with a long (preferabley baffeled) dew tube helps. In Sydney there is a street light across the road and I feel the tube makes a noticable difference..that could be imagination but I dint think so. And it may sound odd but I like the sheild the camera from light I have made up something just in case light somehow creeps in..and to keep off dew..the scope was getting so wet I had to do something.

Thanks All,
I guess I’m critical of my own images , that’s what makes you find ways to improve but you can only do so much , in the end Mother Nature controls everything
I went to Bintel today and bought a dew strap for the primary as I noticed last night the primary was a bit “fogged” up
Also I put up a tarp against my pool fence to shield my neighbours 15 wall lights which are on all night , what for ?? I’ll never know ( see photo )
I going to try M16 Eagle Nebula tonight , so I might drop the sub exposure time a bit to reduce read noise but take more subs , don’t know if that will improve SNR ?
Thanks again
