Sky X

Having trouble drawing a subframe box while going through a focus routine
in Sky X, anyone know how to do it ? I have my CCD connected and image downloaded and showing on the SKY x screen, subframe box ticked but when attempting to draw a box around a star the image just scrolls around.....tis basic but can't figure it out.

Louie, what are the chances of another classic Louie Video showing how to get @Focus3 setup and running. It gave me grief...

Hi Logan

Don't have access to the software anymore mate but you can call me when you at your scope and we can try and work It out.

I had no issues with It at all mate,just had to give It what the micron steps of the focuser, and f ratio of the scope....that's all! It worked out the search span and away you go.

I'm very impressed with It and don't use FocusMax4 anymore.

I'm running Win 8.1 and so not having any Win 10 issues which might be the problem.

If you are using Win 10 go over to Software Buisque forums and you should find a solution.

Hi Beren,

When you have your focus image downloaded, in the top left of the screen there are 6 or 7 buttons, the second from the end is the subframe box, just click that and you are good to draw your subframe

Thanks Joshua will try it , ta for the tip. Thanks Louie will check it out, on my copy of Skyx I have @focus2 .
