The plan was to kick off another imaging run on the Eta Aquariids this morning (Wednesday 6 May) AEST but was bombed out by a bank of fog coming in from the west. Not an unusual occurrence this time of year unfortunately. So as to not waste the effort of getting out of bed at 2am on a cold autumn morning I turned the camera around to the west and grabbed some images of the foggy moon. At least it wasn't all a total waste of effort.
