The price tag on the box is $34.95, how obscene is that, (The average earnings for a week’s work in 1965-66 was $57 (around $740 in today’s dollars),
So that would mean a Tasco 2TE Comet cost around $400 in today's dollars or over half your wage back in 1966.
The place were it was originally sold was Whittles Pharmacy in Murwillumbah Northern NSW.
