More Solar Activity from the 25th Feb 2021

An interesting experience....I usually image (with the ASI 1600) around f15-f18, that seems to be as good (or bad!) as my average seeing will allow.
I had the opportunity to try my CaK exposures at almost f40
couldn't resist the chance....not exactly a waste of time, but not something I think I'll try again in the near future.


The Ha results were generally poor....
I had another go at "improving" the prom image using ImPPG, looks a bit more interesting to my eye.

Such is life!

A very nice set of images in all three wavelengths Ken. Ca K looks great but the prominence image is a real stunner. Congratulations well done again.
