Very nice setup Stefan. I have a DM6 coming soon. My DM4 has been so good to me over the last couple of years it was a no brainer to get the 6 as well. I opted for the Losmandy FHD tripod instead, but did consider the T-POD. Interesting you went with the 10k encoders, did Tom put them in for you?

Ap140edf

Greg Bradley's loss is my gain AP140EDF and Apogee U16M on AP900GTO ready for more testing at home. Hoping to take this setup out for first light under dark skies this weekend at Glen Aplin.

Looks the business. Have fun with first light!

Hi Allan
Yes tom did the install after I sourced them Here and shipped them. I'm so impressed with the mount. Handles the edgeHD 11" as if it wasn't even there. I'm amazed at how smooth the friction plates are, and according to tom they only get better with age like a good red!

Clear skies
Stefan

Good one Stefan. I'm going to the WSP in Florida next February and I've already talked to Tom about it. He brings his TEC180 along on a DM6, so I look forward to spending a few hours with him. He seems like a top guy.

The telescope + mount and the "attachments" look very good Rick

I hope you don't mind me asking- what power distributor and power supply do you use? I am looking at replacing...let me do the math...5 power supplies with just one of good quality.

My all new travel setup came together today with the delivery of a Gitzo GT5532S carbon tripod. Mount is a DSV-M from Desert Sky Astro on a 6" extension, and of course a TV85 sitting on top.

All up weight is 8.6kg, which is perfect for what I plan to use it for. Now waiting for some holes in the cloud to use it all for the first time.
