Newbie!

Hi all!! I am not new to photography and astrophotography but I am new to using a telescope.

I have only just got a AZEQ6-GT and Saxon 250mm

I know there is a number of bits and pieces to get but its a great start.
My sense of direction is the worst so I am tipping I will end up in the wrong galaxy before I find the moon. But nonetheless it's still pointing up and seeing the magic above us. Looking forward to learning more and the adventures of this new journey.

Dee

Hi Dee
Welcome to IIS
Wow that’s a substantial mount and telescope for your first Astro rig
Most people start with an 80mm refractor or a 5” or 6” newt
Definitely a galaxy chaser
Don’t hesitate to post your questions or queries as there are plenty of members to offer advice and assistance
Enjoy the journey
Cheers
