Venus-Saturn conjunction in broad daylight

Using my 110mm ED I found both planets, almost in the zenith from Eltham (northern NSW) at about 9:00 AEST.
Saturn was easily discernible, thanks to the screw-in polarizing filter. I saw both planets in one single field (Panoptic 24, M = 32x).

As a bonus (thanks to the pol filter too) I saw the GRS on Jupiter as well.

Excellent catch. I was looking forward to this conjunction but we are totally clouded out here unfortunately. I will try for tomorrow if the sky permits, although they wil have widened to 2 deg plus by then.
