My First major attempt on a galaxy using my new camera upgrading from a Nikon D7100.
ZWO ASI 071 Cooled -15C
M83 at 4 min subs, total of 28 subs

How did you find the transition to the 071 from DSLR? Is it harder / easier to use?

Hi Kevin
I found it hard at first, but after a while I got the hang of it, as I imaged with my Nikon, I already knew how to image long exposures.
Next step for me is to get a monochrome camera down the track.

What a gem....I like the offset positioning of the galaxy..there is also so much rich detail in the rest of the field of this great image.

I redid my image, made the sky a bit blacker, removed more Amp glower. Slightly increased the colour.
