Solar prominences June1

June 1st. Activity on the sun has been low lately. Two sets of prominences were visible today - one set on the east limb the other on the western limb. Both pics are single exposures taken thru a Lunt 100 Ha scope with a Canon 550d camera. Thanks for viewing.

Nice images John. I was out this afternoon with my modest little PST and the prominences were very clear and quite spectacular so it is good to see them much closer owing to your excellent images.
