1st attempt SMC and Tuc 47
My first attempt to image the SMC and Tuc 47.
Nikon D7000 Sigma 70 - 300 at F5.6, ISC 3200, 30 seconds.

Nice field of view. Was that at the 300mm end or 70mm end of your lens and what sort of tracking did you use to keep the stars from trailing too much? Another good example of using basic equipment to achieve pleasing results.

Good first Try . It's a taste of what's to come. The stars a pretty round. Maybe take a lot of lights and some darks , then stack 'em

Hi Michael. It was at the 300mm end. I used my homemade EQ dob for tracking. Cheers!

Hi Wes. The camera in NR mode will take darks and subtract the noise. I have to work on the lights. Early days!. Cheers!
