HP Stream Laptop & Windows 10 Update Problem

These little lappies from HP are great for travelling with, but it seems HP didn't envisage the huge file sizes that would become the norm' with Windows 10 updates.

And sadly, they can't handle these updates in the usual set and forget way as they only have 32GB of SSD drive space, - most of which is occupied right from the start with the OS and other essential bits and pieces.

I've googled the issue and am desperately trying to follow a suggestion that allows me to download the update file onto a USB drive and then install it from that also.

But the method seems fraught with obstacles and everything takes forever.

Has anyone else bought one of these lappies and successfully performed the subsequent Windows 10 updates?

Any help very gratefully received
