Well I may as well join in on all the fun. Went to bed last night with a pretty solid layer of cloud overhead, woke up at 3:30am to clear skies - nice. Hiked around 15 mins from home to the summit of a local hill, elevation is around 700m ASL.

Canon 50D, ISO 1600, Canon 17-85mm, 35mm @ f/5, 20 sec. Faster lens? - yes, that would have been nice

Thanks guys. Even though I had seen the images within numerous threads, to see the comet for myself was something else - this event is amazing. I do hope everyone here is given the opportunity to view this comet under clear skies. I was in awe, kept forgetting to take images due to the sight.
