Brilliant stuff Grahame, worth getting up that time of the morning. Thanks for showing. I nee to get up as I have never in my life seen a comet, gonna set the alarm.

must get up a bit earlier tomorrow - I really was not expecting it to be so bright or up so early!

would you believe I was only 10k's from Colin's (WOW shot!) location in mandurah?!

Hello,

I took some pictures of C/2011 Lovejoy this morning from Sao Paulo/Brazil.
The thin tail was visible with 11x80 binoculars under light polluted skies of Sao Paulo.

Quick one before bed, this shot @ 70mm, ISO 3200, 30 seconds.

odd framing due to its size and my lack of expensive lenses to use

Very impressive with the head above the horizon. My alarm failed to get me up this morning so i will will have to get up even earlier tmw morning Ugggg.

Great shots Grahame, love the latest one with tail detail and the cluster, excellent.

Hoping I can wake up for it tomorrow, I have to work so can't do the old stay up all night trick.

Do you have a link to Colin's shot from Mandurah? I can't seem to find it
