Solar surface 14.2.11

This is a capture of the sun from London today, 14th Feb. Large active region 11158 facing directly towards Earth and looking impressively turbulent:

Hello

It's the first time that I see the sun with that color, red and white. Very impressive. I like it!

Thanks! Images were captured via a Solarmax 90 filter fitted to a Takahashi 102 refractor, a BF15 blocking filter and SkyNyx 2.1 camera. A Meade x2 telenegative lens was used also. This image is a mosaic of 4 individual captures (clouds came in before I could finish the disk), each capture from a stream of 2600 using Lucam Recorder, initial stacking in Registax 5, final processing in Photoshop 5.
