Partial Eclipse Adelaide

Hi,

Almost forgot about the eclipse, and just happened to have my camera with me - but left my sun filter at home!
Managed to get this shot off anyway. (no I did not look through my camera, took the risk-imaged it onto my shirt, random shots)
300mm (50%cropped)
ISO 100
1/4000 sec
f32
Polarizing filter on

all for maximum darkness.

Just got it!

I'd flagged it away as yet another bad joke. But when I came out of work at 4:00 there was a sucker hole, so being a sucker I raced home (<5 mins!) and hurriedly fashioned a pinhole camera from a cardboard box just in time for the cloud to come over...

Oh well, you get that!

Al.

Well I had the Ha scope out and got a glimpse, looked interesting I must say, but the cloud and the tree in my neighbours yard killed any chance of getting any images. Next time.
