Hi again,

Thought I share this attempt from yesterday evening (taken around 8:30 pm Canberra time) - classic Syrtis Major / Hellas Basin view. Single 3 minute avi, 1500 frames.

Had exceptionally good seeing despite varied transparency. Phase is starting to become more noticeable as the planet recedes. Imaged Jupiter at sunset also, yet to complete processing.

That is very good with Hygens crater easily seen and cloud free Hellas which I only ever see with blue cloud usually.

John.
