Esprit focuser is a good one - never seen one fitted to anything else before though! Well done Brian.

Just watch the little locking lever underneath mate - it unscrews from the spindle too easily. I put permanent loctite on mine.

Yes the origonal owner lost the first one in the grass and loctite'd this second one from Tasco in place before I got it . Lesson learned .

Yes they are a nice R&P focuser and this one was off the 120 f7 Esprit .

Meru does a brilliant job with the printing! Got a few bahtinov masks and had a focuser bracket made. Must get another bahtinov mask made before I forget again.

Just to confirm, the part we're talking about is an adapter to attach an Esprit focuser to your achro? That's impressive.

Mate, thanks so much for the great feedback! Didn't see this post to now - always a pleasure to deal yourself (and of course Colin, we still need to plan that catch up). Looks very good and happy to hear it worked the first time

He should have more spare time...someone to do the laundry, house work, prepare meals, mow the lawn, wash the car....heck he should be able to give up work.

I will need a mask soon.

This is so wonderful to see great effort Meru.

Alex

Alex , we need to support people like Meru here , his prices are very good and the product is as expected , if the dimensions are supplied right , that is a very good finished product that in my case would have been a bast%$d to machine on a lathe .

Hi Brian
I could not agree more.
I feel his service will be invaluable to me.as I put together a new set up.
My daughter has a project which if we can develop it further will keep him occupied for quiet a while.

I think I have even have less spare time now, although seems like Alex is living the dream haha. Appreciate the kind words guys and yea it was frustrating having to fork out $$$$ for basic things (or worse not even selling to us because we have (?) drop bears). Look forward to any and all project!
