I am readvertising my Mewlon 300 FOR SALE at a reduced price of $14000AUD.
ALTERNATIVELY, if there are any Mewlon 250/250CRS owners wishing to upgrade to the Mewlon 300, I would consider TRADE+CASH (TO BE NEGOTIATED)
The planetary/lunar views of the M300 are brilliant.
And the views using Denkmeier Binos are also absolutely fantastic.
I am the sole owner of the M300, and purchased it new from Astronomy and Electronic Centre, being delivered late 2008. It is serial no. 08002. (the 2 x M300 ref pictures on AEC website are this scope).
The scope was supplied with the 11x50 finder scope and bracket, 2 x tube rings and 2 x tube counterweights. On the current model M300, the finder scope/bracket and tube rings are now extras.
The reduced price of $14000AUD includes the following accessories I have added:
• 1 extra tube counterweight
• 1 x 12v “Cooling Angel” cooling fan set, which is similar to the fans on the current CRS models, but are “detachable”.
• 1 x CRS Corrector, which is also removable, should you prefer the f12 configuration
There are some minor blemishes on the rear removable cover of the scope, and also the rear of remote handpiece, and the OTA counterweight rail.
The price excludes the following, which are part of my setup shown in the photos:
• Cost of Shipping. But I have the original box for for packing.
• The BT Technologies Dovetail Plat,e
• The EM400 Mount, and Saddle Plate
• The Scope Buggy and “Metal Tripod”
• The Feathertouch Focuser.
Whilst the above items are not included in the sale, I may consider selling them to the buyer to assist in having an immediately functioning setup.
