Quick Mars from tonight.

C11, 2x telextender, Canon 60D (crop mode), ISO 200, 100f/sec
Quick processing in pipp, Autostakkert, wavelets in registax6.


Second image is with a bit more agressive walelets processing in registax6

Fine images Bojan, for relatively modest equipment, the seeing down your way must have been quite reasonable. Seems that you have managed to pick out a small detached region of the polar cap too.
I was out last night imaging Mars as well but only with an 127 mm refractor, so have much less resolution even though the seeing was quite good and would not consider mine worthy of public exhibition.

Great Mars pics.

The Big scope pics of Mars from yourself and others here have been particularly impressive this year given that Mars has been covered with dust while at its closest to us.
