QLD Astrofest Vignette / Shared ISS Transit

The final night of QLD Astrofest wasn't great this year with high clouds but we all got to watch the International Space Station pass the moon illuminated which was pretty special. Skip to 1:20 for that. Extra footage by Colin Drescher, Troy Piggins, Michael Webster and Duncan Milburn. Shot on iPhone & Canon 6D mk II mostly. Guitar noodles by me.

Very nice Dylan.

Those high clouds aren't much good for astronomy but look great on time-lapses. Great seeing everyone's vids/pics of the ISS transit together too.
Certainly looking forward to getting back to Astrofest next year after missing it this year.

Oh and very nice guitar noodles!

Yep sorta glad I didn't take the whole rig down but I would've got a better poke at the transit if I did ! Maybe cya next year!
