I have a new revision. My memory is so bad I forgot that I took this galaxy pair last year. So I added them both together for a total of 1632 x 30 seconds or 13.6 hours. That makes this the most number of frames stacked for a deep sky object I've done with a DSLR.

New revision at Astrobin ---> https://astrob.in/349708/B/

Thanks Ray! It's super crazy! When I get an astro cam I may even take more subs since there's no shutter to kill.

I wonder how a 10,000 sub effort would turn out, and also at what point would no further improvement be seen.[Maybe we will find out].

10,000 x 30 second subs is like 80 hours. I don't think I have the patience or clear enough skies to do that. At least not in one year.
