I have searched the web for a solution to lose camera body rubber grip without success.
What kind of glue is used?

I suspect that it is an adhesive transfer tape. Look for 3M #924 or similar. Officeworks has it in their online catalogue, but I have never been able to find one of their stores with it in stock.

Not too sure on that unfortunately. Super Glue is probably too severe. Have a look at this product as I guess what you're after is a rubber to metal bonding agent:

Rubber gkue

The rubber needs to be able to come off for future repair to the camera because there are screws underneath the rubber.

I would use a thin double sided tape for that or maybe a little black silicone?

Hi,

Yes, I reckon black silicone sealant, it is Selleys Windscreen Sealant. Use just a small amount, just enough. Once cured it can only be cut off with a sharp blade.

The best glue out for rubber-to-rubber bond is superglue, but you want something a bit different.

Cheers

Neoprene glue is best for rubber because it stays flexible (sometimes it is also used for sniffing).
It is also used to glue leader (by shoe repairers).
Bunnings used to have it in spray bottles.
Apply then wait 10-20 minutes for glue to dry, then press pieces together.

I found the answer to the problem right here in my drawer of my desk.

The "rubber grib" on the camera of course is not rubber it is Vinyl or Leatherette.
Yesterday afternoon I applied 'Glue Stick' to the small section on the camera that would not stick. This morning I found it was the perfect answer. It was still sticky and it stuck again when I pushed it back in place. Fantastic.
