Suggestions for a Coma Corrector for 8" F/4 and SBIG 8300C

I am looking for suggestions for a coma corrector / field flattener for use with a 8" f/4 Skywatcher Quattro and a SBIG 8300C CCD.

I have seen this at Bintel, SkyWatcher f4 Aplanatic Coma Corrector
https://www.bintel.com.au/product/sk...v=6cc98ba2045f

Is this suitable?

Thanks

Brendan

It looks very similar to the GPU corrector which is sold by TS in Germany. If it is this will be fine. I am using the GPU on an f3.8 12" and it works well. Watch the back focus distance though. You need to get this correct for proper correction.

I also have the skywatcher f4 Coma Corrector and it seems to do a great job when the back focus is correct. I have a Baader mark III Mpcc I can lend to you if you want to try that out first?

I have the GPU corrector, which I believe is the same as the Skywatcher Quattro coma corrector.

I find that, with my ASI1600 - which is roughly the same size sensor as your 8300 - if my collimation is spot on, I get round stars across the field.
