Perseid Meteor reports ?

So .... Did anyone see any Perseids this morning ?
Unfortunatly I had cloud here this morning, so I will try again tomorrow morning
I did however see a bright Meteor rising from the northern horizon this evening.
Could have well been a Perseid ?

Well, I tried one more but alas the clouds closed in again this morning
But just before dawn, as the clouds cleared I did manage to catch a few quick & bright Perseids.
Oh well .... maybe next year

I had clear skies, and although I saw a couple of shooting stars overhead, I didn't see hide nor hair of a Perseid...

Ian wouldn't you know it, we had clear skies and light wind for almost a week !
Last night, early this morning, nothing but cloud.

It is said that persistence pays off, well this morning it was clear as a bell & I was able to observe 4 very nice & bright Perseids, leaving their distinctive sparkling trains behind them.
It was certainly worth spending the 1/2 hr between 5:15 & 5:45 am, reclining in a comfy chair enjoying the morning sky
