Helix with TS115

This was my last image of the night with very poor transparency, but being directly overhead allowed me to still pull a decent image.

15x7 minutes, TS115, L-Enhance filter, d5600 @ ISO 400

Very nice, smooth image there & good detail for what would be considered a relatively short exposure for this object.

To start capturing the faint outer structures you'd need many hours of exposure.

The problem I have is that there are too many objects I want to image and not enough clear sky, so I tend to flit from one to the next
I did go back to IC4685 last night and get more data to add to an old image - saving the best for last hopefully

Thanks for everyone's comments.

Nothing wrong with that.

It doesn't matter how much data you capture on the Helix you'll always wish you had more

Looking forward to your latest rendition of IC4685.
