May Photo Challenge - Entries (Please Post them here)

The Topic this month is : "Impression"
Hmm! Not sure what to expect here, but I expect it will be varied.

OK, so get thinking!

Reminders ...
* This thread is only for posting your entry, together with any comments/explanation/details you'd like to issue concerning your own photo.
[sometimes this may help sway the judges]
* comments on other peoples' entries, or if you have any "other" shots of your own you'd like to share, can be posted in the Comments and Rejects Thread -> HERE.
* only one entry (that's just one image) per person (but you can change it out at any time if you get a better one)
* the image must be your own work and
* all other normal forum rules, and image size limits, apply.

The image doesn't necessarily have to be taken this month, but in the spirit of the challenge, we encourage you to get out and engage with it.
In this regard, YES, the image may be one that you have previously posted, unless of course it has already been voted a previous photo challenge winner.

The winner of the public vote, which will be run at the end of the month, will get to choose next month's topic and have their photo added to our "Photo Challenge Hall of Fame".

Good Luck!

Endangered Impressions

Rather than impressionism I thought these footprints and feather of the Eastern Curlew may be more relative. An endangered winter migrant from the Northern hemisphere these footprints or impressions may well disappear within our lifetimes.

Impressions in the sand

Taken today, while on vacation at Forster (NSW).
But you may need to look closely to see them.
Instead of just cropping the footprints, I thought I would leave the rest of the image to increase any peripheral ambience.
Also, as we're on holiday, I can't edit it anyway.

I got lucky with the setting sun at the end of a big downpour recently.

I little literal I know.

Monet' s Garden , the artist designed several paintings specifically for the Orangerie in Paris and donated his first two large panels to the French State as a symbol of peace on the day following the Armistice of 12 November 1918. He also designed a unique space consisting of two oval rooms within the museum.

Indigenous Impression.

Brisbane's William Jolly Bridge last Sunday night.
Riki Salam’s 'Creation Pathways' is projected onto the structure in celebration of this year's Indigenous Art Program Shared Connections. It offers opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of Australia’s First Nations’ people.
