Where to buy astroimaging gears in Melbourne?

Hi

I have a business trip to your fine country coming up in a couple of months, staying 3 days in Melbourne.

I would like to take this opportunity to buy a few astroimaging gears while I am there, as the prices in NZ are ridiculously high. Hopefully I can also take advantage of the tourist refund scheme and get the GST refunded.

I am specifically looking at buying a Skywatcher Espirit 80 refractor or other good quality imaging oriented refractor.

Possibly a better mono CCD as well to replace my Atik 314L.

Can someone please suggest a good brick and mortar shop in Melbourne where I can buy these, have them checked out before boarding my flight back home?

Failing that, any good online retailer who can ship to a hotel address?

I quite like Andrews as I have dealt with them previously but they are in Sydney...

Also I am wondering where you guys (Aussie) put up second hand astro gears for sale? I look at ice trade from time to time but it doesn't seem to have much on it (only 12 items under imaging). Do you use eBay, or are there other sites?

Thanks for any advice

Henry

+1 for Bintel
But I'd ring and check that they will have the gear you want in stock.

Is Bintel price competitive?

Looking at the Skywatcher Espirit 80 for example it seems to be about AUD$250 more expensive than Andrews?

Do they do price match?

Anyone sells QHY CCD in Melbourne?
