MT-160 Imaging tune up

Hi all,
Have recently been thinking about my MT, and what i can do to make it much better for imaging. First comes to mind, a good focuser (moonlite), a cooling fan, and dew heaters. (sorry Lewis! ) . Then of course, proper collimation tools and an OAG along with good spacing. (any maybe another mount tune up.)
Any other improvements? I'm thinking a bigger secondary as i have nasty vingetting on my pics.
The question is, after spenging the about 1200$ on the scope, would it even be worth keeping it and not just getting a tak or something???
