Jupiter, Io, and Mars Sept 9th 2011

Another pretty good Jupiter capture I figured you guys and girls would like.

Altitude=59°43'
CMI=298.7° CMII=103.0° CMIII=42.7°

And a try at Mars since it wasn't a shape shifting blob quite as much as it has been.

Altitude=33°56'
Upscaled 200%

Nice work Justin, it has been a rather poor Jup season so far for most of us in OZ. Thanks for posting.

Regards
Trevor

Yep..have to agree...that is a nice detailed Jupiter image you have produced there Justin and nothing to complain about the Mars result given that it is a rather difficult target at the moment.

Nice result Justin. How many frames are you stacking per run? The detail looks good but there is quite a bit of speckle in your image. Perhaps more frames and less aggressive sharpening will make for a smoother image. Ganymede looks good with albedo detail.
