Tarantula with L-Enhance Filter

A better effort with the L-Enhance filter and the 183mcpro and orion ed80
180 seconds times 20 + 30 Darks no flats.

Still needs more time but processing with the L-enhance filter s a little bit of careful balancing.
Comments and critiques welcomed.

That’s a cracker Nik. Well done. Beautiful natural processing again to. Real smokey cloud to the outer nebulosity. I have a similar filter and processing is a bit of a different game, a game I’m still learning too. Excellent work mate !

Tarantula with L-Enhance Filter

A nice detailed picture. Would be good if you had an image of the same object without the L-E filter to compare. Thanks.

Look at this thread for comparison, that was with the L-Pro filter just for light pollution.

That’s really impressive Nik, I have been thinking about the L-Enhance filter to use with my modded canon 40d. You have just convinced me.

Do it it is a grat filter, even the stars become minimised, Processing definitely takes a little longer but well worth the end results.

Wow Nik that is nice...I thought I had posted earlier?...But I just now decided to have a other look cause I am I interested in getting oneshotclour so thought I would have a longer harder look...just as well cause I saw that the post I thought I made was not here.
The camera seems to do a decent job.

Nice work Nik, I love the amount if fine detail you have captured.

Really nicely processed too.

Thanks Everyone
Next clear night I'll try and obtain as much data as heavenly possible as best I can considering work etc. May even try a wider field to see what I can get on the edges. I'm pretty sure there are more objects just to the bottom of the field.
