The image on the right is the simulator image which is common amongst planetary imagers now. I think it is either Hubble data or one of the orbital probes.

I will delete the post until confirmation is sent. I thought it was too good!

Subscriber Achievements

Hello everyone.

Not wanting to blow my own trumpet as merely the provider of the data, but one of my subscribers has just achieved his 7th consecutive (28 Jul) IOTD or Top Pick on Astrobin.

https://www.astrobin.com/users/BrianPeterson/

In fact, out of the 10 images he has published from his subscription to the CDK, 8 of them have been acknowledged in this way.

In addition to this, of course, you have seen Rick's awesome processing and results from the same data.

regards
Martin

Centaurus 'A' (NGC 5128)

Hi folks

would like to draw your attention to the processing of this data set by acknowledged Pixinsight expert Warren Keller.

http://www.billionsandbillions.com/centaurus_a.html

Warren used a pixel math formula to blend the Ha into the image (to highlight the jet) and he plans to share that via his website.

cheers
