Haha, it's my "joke" username, if an admin is reading this id be happy to change it though.
I'll do just that.
Keep up the great work!

Ryan, i also have an edgeHD 8"
400mm guidescope with high quality thick rail and guide rings + rings for the guide camera to hold it steady.
I get rougthly 3.7 arcseconds of flexure over 10 minutes which is 4 pixels with 6.22um pixels using a focal reducer. The guidscope moves 6.7 microns.
EDIT: My most recent upload to this sub forum shows a stack of 5min exposures on the same night.

If i had the option to do it all again, id go OAG, granted i have no experience with them. I never have issues getting guide stars though

Thank you for your input Nathan. That gives me hope. As you have said, no doubt OAGing will be better but hearing your results and seeing Tony's. I might give it a go with my 80/400. I think the key ingredient for both of yours is the use of the reducer. That's the one thing I don't have in my arsenal at the moment. I'd like to be able to get it working at its full focal length......because I'm an idiot like that lol.

Thank you both for giving me inspiration
