Hi all, here are some more images. A few nights back I captured the Eightburst nebula with the modded 350D and 10 inch f5.6 scope, its 3x 10 mins ISO400 with LPS filter
Also used the guide camera ZWO ASI120MM mono to do a video run and get the Homunclus Nebula. Not perfect just a quick thing to try before packing up.
last night I got out Bert's 5D camera, it has an intervalometer controller that makes an imaging run so much easier. The dynamic range of its huge pixels is incredible. at ISO200 and 5 minutes through the LPS filter the core of m42 was still not overexposed. The camera does have more thermal noise, and I think i should use ISO800 for other DSO stuff. This pic is 10x5 mins. All hand guided on the 1986 vintage Sampson Astro Optical supplies mount.
