Another polemaster convert

How good is this!!!
In Light polluted Glen Iris under in the smoke hazed mess we call a sky I finally tried it out and within 5 minutes was polar aligned.
Never knew it would be this easy.
The key is to have the scope pointing in the general area and away you go!
Software is intuitive and easy to follow I just had to turn up the gain and the exposure but the camera is very sensitive.
Really happy it worked straight away.

Seriously Alex within 5 minutes I was aligned and this was first go at attempting it.
I just played around with the go to and it just stayed on target. Was crap for imaging so after playing around for an hour packed up. But I reckon whatever was in the viewfinder would have stayed there for hours it is that good.

Once I would nail polar easy as but since getting back into things only once did I get it...and coming up North trying to set up tired has me befuddled and a little short of useless. ..so it can only help.
In Sydney I cant see the csp so I will have to just keep at it but with the polar scope I am thinking that a trip up near Brooklyn where I kept my boat is feasable.
Looking forward to its arrival.

But the reward has been finding what can be done with 30 second exposures having had to shoot that way ...so all good.
