One of those nights....

I had one of those nights where nothing seems to behave as you would hope it does....

I had real bad guiding at first but when i did a meridian flip guiding seemed fine....

does anyone know why this is?

I can't see anything on your attachment, but if I had to hazard a guess why things might have improved after a flip, I'd suggest reviewing your scope balance.
