University Optics Orthoscopic Eyepieces 12.5mm, 18mm & 25mm

Set of three UO volcano top orthos 12.5mm 18mm and 25mm.
Excellent condition.
$270 the set plus $9 tracked postage in Australia. Add 2% if insurance is required.

Eyepiece Collectors Please Note:
Two eyepieces have casings marked O.P.S. (Orthoscopic Planetary Series) which are collectors items and often sell for USD$100 apiece. The eyepieces I am selling are the standard orthoscopics and not the OPS type. A small run of standard eyepieces was built with OPS casings. That is what is here. For a detailed explanation please see the comment by junomike at https://www.cloudynights.com/topic/3...ops-vt-orthos/

User Review:

“If you want to go DEEP, use low glass count eyepieces, such as Orthoscopics.”

Alvin ranks the deep sky performance as:

1. Zeiss XAO-II (the best)
2. University Optics and Baader orthoscopics
3. Televue Delos
4. Teleview Ethos

“In actuality, the UO HD (University Optics) is closer to the Zeiss than the Ethos”
