Slightly off topic - which STL have you used for 3D printing them?

You'd be hard pressed to better the Chinese, even the locally available ones:

https://www.astroshop.com.au/product...mounting-block

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Large-Un...Cclp%3A2334524

I've had both, and both are very good quality.

I can get them cheaper than that although I have to wait a while to get them made Via CNC

Well, you can actually get them even cheaper via AliExpress than the local guys, but I thought I would do my civic duty once or twice.

I paid $28 for the Vixen one and $47 for the Losmandy one through AE

Funny you should post this now, I've been experimenting with casting 3d printed dovetails out of scrap aluminium, got me thinking if I can do a clamp as well

Thanks Trevor,

I've printed one from Thingiverse. It was a customisable SCAD. Only issue is the diameter of the bolt holes are larger than the bolts, so the clamping portion doesn't remain square to the main part of the bracket.
