Fuji FinePix S602Z - piggyback ?

Whilst not a DSLR.....

It has ISO up to 1600, max aperture open time of 15 secs.
Focal length 7.8mm to 46mm

Is it worth toying with this piggyback ?
It also saves AVI @ 640x480, so perhaps some video might also be an option. Note sure of the ISO setting when in movie mode. Anyone know?

Anyone had any experience with this or similar cameras for widefield deep sky work ?

Tried it on the tripod tonight with 1600 ISO, 15 sec exposure, bumped it up to +1EV. Dunno how much more I would get out of this on the Lx200 being guided - perhaps a tad sharper. Looks like sensitivity and aperture time are the limits. Opinions or ideas ?
2 shots attached from near Scorpius.
